Further to this series of posts, which you can find here, I have once again hit the Dutch medieval archives to find more gender neutral names for y’all. Today, I have found a great one!!
BONNE
Hear me out, no even better, have a seat!
In Midwolda, Friesland in the year 1606, on the beautiful May 18th (work with me here, I need the sun to shine on that day 😉 ) a little boy called Udo was baptised. His mother was called Bonne, see the green square. I can tell this is the woman’s name because the name of the father always came first, he was called Reuwens Luppens.

Later in that century, on June 12th, 1616, a gentleman named Bonne Broersz has his daughter Annetgen baptised in Hoorn.

I realise this name is on the outer ‘borders’ of the SCA time, but perhaps this could work for a late persona. The name Bonne comes from the French word bon, meaning good.
